I spent a delightful academic year, 1961-62, at this establishment of higher learning. I left after BSc Part 1 to read engineering at one of the top schools. Upon reflection, I wish I had put in more effort into academic work rather than socialising.

My parents lived in Kanpur for 50+ years from circa 1940. I spent two delightful years at the two Christ Church Colleges. One was at the Intermediate College (1960-61) and the other at the Degree College (1961-62) college. However, I did not complete my BSc degree here. I was born in Kanpur. I have always felt a strong affinity to Kanpur and regard it as my home.
